Game & Watch, Treasure Hunt and VR Game Night — all at 3:00 PM at the New Rochelle Public Library. Free. Tweens and teens in grades 6-12 get the run of the Teen Room with the Switch, PS5, Xbox, an Oculus Quest 3, and the library's annual treasure hunt.
Need a hand with an application or form? One-on-One Assistance runs at 10:00 AM and again at 2:00 PM in the library's 2nd Floor Help & Learning Center. Free — a staff member is ready to help.
Homeschooled Ice Cream — 4:00 PM at Town House Kitchen + Drinks. Free to browse. The ice cream window is open 4-9pm through the rest of summer, so swing by for a sweet start to the weekend.
Summer Fun Fridays - Glow in the Dark Party — 7:30 PM at Fifth Avenue & Potter Avenue. Free. A glowing, splash-filled evening that's easily the most fun way to cap off a Friday in New Rochelle.
Gentle/Beginner Yoga — 10:30 AM at the New Rochelle Public Library. Free. A restorative, easy-level class perfect for all ages and anyone new to yoga.
Information Session for Citizenship/Civics Classes — 11:00 AM at the New Rochelle Public Library. Free. Learn how the library's civics classes prepare students for the U.S. citizenship and naturalization exam. (Note: the Main Library is open 10am-2pm on summer Saturdays.)
Homeschooled Ice Cream — 4:00 PM at Town House Kitchen + Drinks. Free. Back again Saturday afternoon for another scoop.
Downtown Summer Sizzle Concert Series: Chambers Deslauriers — 6:30 PM at Ruby Dee Park. Free. Houston soul comes to downtown New Rochelle for a free outdoor evening of live music — bring a blanket and settle in.
Member Appreciation Party — at The Self Studio. Ticketed. A celebration for studio members if you're part of the community.
Wellness by the Water: Zumba — 9:00 AM at The Waters Grill, Hudson Park. Ticketed. Start your Sunday moving with T-Train's waterfront wellness series, featuring Zumba, yoga, and family fun with a gorgeous view.
Heads up: the New Rochelle Public Library is closed on Sundays through Labor Day weekend, so plan any library visits for Friday or Saturday.
